I'd rather Grigorenko centre foligno and ennis than leino and Ott. More skill/speed and they are likely to be part of our future core so it'd be nice to have them develop some chemistry playing together. |

Its under stable that an 18 year old rookie in Grigorenko looked lost at times last season |

Eric Staal and Sidney Crosby "defense-first centers"? And Callahan is not a center. |

Darcy Regier and the Sabres scouting staff know a center ice star when they see one.
Clearly...since the Sabres are so loaded at the position...or something... |

With all due respect, I can’t think of a worse idea than suggesting that Grigorenko play the wing. That’s the position that he has been groomed to play his whole career.

Those aren't proper sentences. A complete sentence needs a subject and a verb. |

Way to go Garth, someone had to take a shot at that idiot andrew peters. Peters suggested he play wing today. Peters thought he played wing at the WJC last year. To quote Peters "You have a team of Mccormicks, you will have a great team". Enough said... |

None of the centers you named (Tavares stamkos duchene etc) struggled near as much as grigo. They were Calder candidates. It's a good thing grigo has a top 15 NHL center tutoring him |

He'd probably be better off playing on the wing and playing top six minutes than being the fourth line centre with Scott and Kaleta. |

Garth, you're so grossly ignorant that it's beginning to annoy me. Grigorenko HAS PLAYED WING BEFORE. I'm not sure what the context was (and I'm not going to make a novel of a blog to act like I do), but he was switched to RW on several occasions in Quebec. It didn't make a difference in his play. I'm not convinced that he can handle the defensive responsibilities of playing center in the NHL right now, and moving him to the wing alleviates a lot of that responsibility. Not to mention, he'd get MUCH more playing time in the top 6 as a winger. Scorers like him BELONG on the wing. Yeah, players like Crosby/Stamkos/Malkin are scoring centers NOW, but they played wing very early in their careers until their defensive abilities were refined enough to be a full-time center. You may think it's not the right choice to put him on the wing, but to say it's the worst possible option? That's just lunacy.

I just don't really like Ennis on the wing. . .
Foligno-Grigorenko-Leino line I think would look good. |

And on the flip side you have Joe Thornton who had 7pts in 60 games his rookie year. Who is actually more similar to Grigo in style of play than any of the other three |
